A whole new year.
2008 has past. and we are brought into 2009. if any of u have watched the countdown party last night (i was too bored. couldnt help it.) they showed some things that happened in 2008. like the earthquake in china and the melamine scare and economic downturn and the terrorist attacks in mumbai. well most of us would have hoped that 2009 will start off smoothly and without any disasters. however our hopes have been crushed. just this morning, a fire killed 50 plus people in bangkok and 1 is apparently a singaporean.
this would bring some discomfort to people around the world and some may even be superstitious and look at 2009 in a bad light. well we shouldnt. there are bound to be accidents and mishaps everywhere. just because this happened, we should not claim that the entire year will be like this. the year is innocent. people are not. PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE ARE NOT (stupid people!).
anyhoo… lets believe that 2009 will be an amazing year. although i miss 2008 very much (i miss 2007 more =D). im lookng forward to 2009 (thats the least i could do if im still living). haha. so everyone… HAPPY NEW YEAR!
